Arts Award

To achieve their Arts Award, young people take on challenges in an art form, participate in arts activities, experience arts events, get inspired by artists and share their arts skills with others.

They are studying the Bronze, Silver and Gold level awards.

Pupils create a portfolio to keep a record of their creative journey, and along the way are supported by Arts Award advisors, who act as assessor, facilitator and mentors.

Here at the school our Arts Award is run by

Mrs. Andro

Assisted by Mr.Nichols

As part of their Award students are asked to study an individual of their choice. Last year people studied included Hugh Laurie and Hagrid from Harry Potter!

To provide evidence for their individual portfolio the students are asked to attend a gallery or artistic event so we will be visiting Fabrica Gallery in Brighton and will be going to critique a film.
