Patcham House School prides itself on the broad, balanced and personalised curriculum it offers to students.  The school has high aspirations for all pupils to achieve their best and develop skills for lifelong learning.

Our individual knowledge of students ensures we can promote and develop both academic and social skills, of which we place equal importance. This enables students to see themselves as achievers and experience success at all kinds of levels, both academically and pastorally.

Our students are taught the core subjects of English, Maths and Science, PE.  In addition to this students are able to express their creative talents through creative arts, technology or food.

Students at Key Stage 4 have bespoke timetables matched to their individual options and post 16 career pathways.  We encourage all students at Key Stage 4 to undertake some curricula provision with another provider, e.g. Patcham High, Plumpton or city college where they are supported by Patcham House staff.  This assists the young person in transferring to mainstream colleges at post 16.

We believe in monitoring the progress of our students regularly and providing them and you with progress updates. Our formal assessment cycle is four times per year.  We provide regular opportunities in school to discuss these updates on progress with key workers and subject teachers to set targets to support learning.
